Terri is a Team Support Specialist and National Trainer who came to Family Leadership from a Special Education career. She’s an energetic trainer who loves seeing parents become trainers themselves.
Terri served in a Texas school district for 24 years. She gained teaching experience in first and second grade before moving into Special Education. There she specialized in educational assessment. Terri earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Deaf Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Sam Houston State University.
Terri considers herself a native Texan, having lived in the Lone Star State since she was 10 years old. She is in the Plan B stage of her life having remarried 5 years ago. Collectively she and her husband Michael have 6 grown children and 5 grandchildren. They live on 2 acres in a rural area outside of Houston and enjoy hosting their large extended family at events such as Sunday dinners, annual Bocce Ball tournaments, and a Crawfish Boil.
When home, Terri enjoys cross stitch projects, reading, and puttering around the house. She sings in her church choir and is a long-time member of the Texas Master Chorale.
