And with all the assets that we have I can change and I can make it better for my children and make them better parents when they become parents.

“Something very important that I’ve learned is that I don’t have to do what my parents did. I can change, I can break the cycle right here right now and I don’t have to carry it. I may see a lot of negatives but why do I have to be negative? It’s incredibly professionally done and I’m very impressed so thank you.

“I just feel incredibly grateful for you putting this together. It’s incredibly professionally done and I’m very impressed so thank you. And so you know we can move forward and create parents with skills and tools that are really helping them and not just blaming them and say there’s no hope for you.

“I know as a teacher sometimes it was easy to blame the parents who weren’t involved and it just felt like they were screwing up their kids. So I’m excited to be able to have a tool to take to them as a solution. And so you know we can move forward and create parents… Read more “And so you know we can move forward and create parents with skills and tools that are really helping them and not just blaming them and say there’s no hope for you.”

Now this is a grand opportunity for me to take this to my house, to my children and everyone who is around me.

“I am going to say it in Spanish because it is my first language. I never had any parents to teach me how to be a father. Now this is a grand opportunity for me to take this to my house, to my children and everyone who is around me.”

I work with the Head Start. I’m real thankful because this was encouragement and support for the work I have been doing, and now I can do it in a more structured way.

“I work with the Head Start. I’m real thankful because this was encouragement and support for the work I have been doing, and now I can do it in a more structured way.
